AlomWare Toolbox 5.2.0.2 Nov 9, 2024 |
Bug fix: For some PC state restorations when waiting for a window to restore. Bug fix: When editing a PC state and clicking "Close all apps/windows" at the top (and the other options), the "Save" button wasn't getting enabled. New step: "Computer: Bring windows to front", which brings only the windows with the specified text or app name to the front, making it a handy way to see all like windows. Apps need to end with ".exe" when being specified. For example, specifying "winword.exe" will bring all Word documents to the front, and specifying "- Notepad" brings all Notepad windows to the front. Specify "explorer.exe" to bring all folders to the front. Maintenance: Other miscellaneous internal bug and stability fixes, code optimisations, and cosmetic text changes. |
AlomWare Toolbox 5.2.0.1 Nov 3, 2024 |
Update: Folders on Windows 11 have recently changed by Microsoft, and therefore Toolbox has been updated to deal with them. Not technically a bug. ;) Bug fix: Left-clicking a folder for a moment to peek at the files inside will no longer accidentally close the preview window (which happened under certain conditions). Addition: New setting called "Folder peek style uses thumbnails instead of a vertical list", so left-clicking a folder will show thumbnails for the files if you prefer. Enhancement: Typing filter text too fast in the Step Chooser filter box could show incorrect step matches, so Toolbox now waits until typing has stopped before filtering. Enhancement: When setting a window to always close or hide when it opens, Toolbox now waits for up to 5 seconds for it to do so before continuing; so that any actions set for it to run after closing/hiding don't jump the gun and run before the close/hide has actually occurred. Maintenance: Other miscellaneous internal bug and stability fixes, code optimisations, and cosmetic text changes. |
AlomWare Toolbox 5.2.0.0 Oct 27, 2024 |
Bug fix: For saving the icon for an opening window state. Bug fix: For correctly positioning some specific window types when restoring a PC state. Major addition: New step called "Window: Save as opening state", so the assigned window can quickly have its current state saved (on top, position, size, transparency, etc) with a hotkey or other trigger, without needing to use the Power menu to do it. This means the window will always auto-open in that state in future. You can use the Power menu to tweak the saved state later, such as to add keystrokes to the opened window. Addition: New setting to specify a list of apps that will never be closed/terminated when clean-slating or PC state restoring. Enhancement: You can now press Enter on the window title, window launcher, and window keystrokes fields to save a PC state that's being edited. Enhancement: When auto-opening windows by app name, specific saved windows are checked first and excluded before generically checking the app of those windows. Maintenance: Other miscellaneous bug and stability fixes, code optimisations, and cosmetic text changes. |
