Added new 'Advanced settings' section in setup page, where admin can set SSL options for database connections. Added 'MySQL compression' option under advanced settings section in setup. Enable this if your database server supports compressed connections. This can improve performance if your database server is on a different machine than your web server. Add feature to send a test email in the Mail tab in admin settings page. This is a quick and convenient way to test mail settings. UI/UX enhancements: If SSL connections are enabled during setup, the database connection check now indicates whether the connection is encrypted. Fix vertical nav top padding when saved filters are applied Enhanced table cell styling for group and member views in admin area Bug fixes: More resilient application uploader for huge projects (100+ tables): disable server time limit when calculating hashes. You must manually upload the new file-uploader.php to apply this fix. Fixed homepage quick search issue where tables having sum rows always showed up in search results even when they have zero matches. Fixed bug when using quick search in a table that has table view and detail view in the same page (where using quick search caused a warning about leaving page without saving) Client-side programmatic improvements: Added .pointer CSS class to change cusrsor to pointer on elements having this class. |

Added QUEUE_AJAX_REQUESTS constant to definitions.php to conditionally enable queued ajax requests (disabled by default). To enable it (if you have a slow server), add this line to hooks/__bootstrap.php: define('QUEUE_AJAX_REQUESTS', true); Fixed warnings about appgini_saved_filters table in rebuild fields page. |

New features: Saved filters: Easily save, retrieve, and manage custom filters for your data views. Users can now save their frequently-used filters and quickly apply them at any time. Saved filters for all tables can be readily accessed from all application pages via the filters drop-down. Instant search in the saved filters drop-down makes it very easy to find a filter by title. Note: Saved filters work only for logged users since each user has their own set of saved filters. Guest can't save filters but can copy or bookmark a permalink. Saved filters demo Programmatic controls of saved filters: To change the maximum number of saved filters per user (default: 100), set the MAX_FILTER_LINKS_PER_USER constant in hooks/__bootstrap.php. To intercept saved filters functionality, you can redefine the JS functions AppGini.handleSaveFilters and AppGini.handleSavedFiltersList in hooks/footer-extras.php. Global search from homepage: Users can now search across all tables they have access to directly from the homepage search box. Quickly finding data across all tables has never been easier! Only the tables and records accessible to the user are displayed in the search results. Homepage search demo If you'd like, for some reason, to disable this feature, set the PHP constant HOMEPAGE_QUICK_SEARCH_TABLES to false in hooks/__bootstrap.php. Selective database backup and downloadable backups: The database backup page now lets you choose which table groups to include in the backup, and allows you to securely download backup files from the admin area. Downloads are safeguarded so that only admins can download the database backups.
