What’s New: FLIF codec: dView now is shipped with libflif and can read and write single and animated FLIF images. As usual, you can play/pause the animation, extract the frames, etc… New Show grid command: This release introduces the grid and the snap-to-grid feature for the selection rectangle. You can choose the grid mode, spacing and color from the Settings dialog. Once the grid is enabled, the selection rectangle will snap automatically. Command: Tools menu > Show grid Shortcut: F9 New Settings dialog: The Settings dialog has been completely redesigned to accommodate two new sections with grid and selection rectangle customization options. Also, there are new NONE and LINEAR options in the tone mapping list. FreeImageRe library: Since the FreeImage project appears to be dead, dView has now moved to the FreeImageRe version, the new fork of the library that ensures maintenance and security updates. For this reason, the runtime libraries have also been updated and VC++ Redistributable 2015-2022 is now required. |
