Key New Formats: These are the most requested formats we've added support for: MOV Alpha Channel — You can now preview MOV files with alpha transparency directly in Eagle, a big convenience for designers and motion graphics artists Apple ProRes — A widely used codec in professional video production, now fully supported TS (Transport Stream) — A common format for broadcasting, streaming, and screen recording, now plays without issues Additional Formats: FLV / F4V — Flash video formats MTS / M2TS — Common formats for Blu-ray discs and camcorders MKV — Improved compatibility with the MKV container 3GP — A common mobile phone recording format Beyond format support, video codec compatibility has also improved significantly. Previously, Eagle could only handle a limited set of codecs such as H.264, H.265, AV1, VP8, and VP9. Now most mainstream video codecs are supported, so you should encounter far fewer cases of "video with no audio" or "unable to play." |
