This version is an homage to celebrate the work of the father of OpenDSS - Roger Dugan, who is retiring in 2024 after 53 years of work for the electric power industry. This software is a small part of his legacy, as well as his countless publications and other contributions to the industry. <li class="bbli">Changes this version: Solves a bug found when reporting powers for generators while using NCIM solution mode. Adds interfaces in COM / DLL for directly handling Storage and WindGen objects. Adds the WindGen object for modeling wind generators in QSTS and dynamics domains. Introduces the NCIM solution method for handling transmission circuits that can be difficult to solve with the other methods already available in OpenDSS. Implements corrections in COM / DLL for recently noticed bugs found around. |

- Grid Forming Capabilities for PV/Storage. - CapControlMode Follow added for helping to represent deterministic capacitor behavior. - Load shape EDGE and Averaging (linear) interpolation for facilitating the description of loadshapes in time. - DirectDLL methods for accessing structures updated to reflect the structures in other versions. - solves bug found in the Circuit interface (COM), preventing users from enabling/disabling elements through it. - Solves a bug introduced in version 9.6.1.2 when using CapControl in time or follow control modes. - Bug in Yprim formation for 1-ph and 2-ph delta-connected capacitors fixed. Fix to user-specified NormAmps and EmergAmps for capacitors, which were always being overridden with default values. Pending to check for same issues on Reactors. - Variant-like interfaces updated to pointers to faciltiate its adoption cross platform and to match the Cpp version. |
