| VariCAD Viewer 2026 1.01 Jan 27, 2026 | Among new features, there is mainly a capability to load files from ACIS native formats and STL files. There are also some changes in 3D modeling, working with solid attributes (for Viewer version) and exports into STL. Loading and viewing data from STL and ACIS is obviously available for both full version and a Viewer. Changes made for this version allows you to load and work with objects containing a large amount of patches (set of single isolated triangles), like data prepared into STEP from various 3D scanners. Files from STL can be loaded and used as solids. For large STL data there may be some limits, if you want to use them as regular 3D objects. |

The new version contains changes in 3D modeling, a new feature in 3D groups - support of transformation of 3D group location, definition of tolerances of 3D threads created for 3D printing, color mapping for DWG/DXF output and a new option for input of 2D coordinates from a text file. Moreover, a VariCAD Viewer supports working with multiple open files. |
