| VinylStudio for Mac 15.1.1 Oct 31, 2025 |
Fixed unresponsive buttons in the Lookup Track Listing dialog on Tahoe (Mac only). Moved the user interface on to Liquid Glass on Tahoe (Mac only). Fixed custom tags longer than 4 characters in ID3 tags (Muberos). VinylStudio can now handle duplicate track names on the same album when burning CDs (Lee Hartsfeld). 'Mix down to mono' is now respected even if saving with corrections disabled (Vincent Shaw). VinylStudio can now make a cleaned up copy of your recorded files. Useful for exporting CUE sheets. For users with impaired vision, VinylStudio now has an option to announce the current signal level in the CheckLevel dialog (Mac only, enable VoiceOver to use). We have also written a guide which lists all the hotkeys you can use; you can open this from VinylStudio's help menu. Implemented 'scrubbing'. Press and hold 1 to scrub backwards, 2 to scrub forwards. Set the scrubbing speed using the Cursor Options menu or via hotkeys. With VoiceOver enabled on the Mac, typing a question mark will tell you what track or track break you are on, and pressing Ctrl+W will tell you which tab you are in. You can now reduce the verbosity of VoiceOver on the Mac. Hotkey is Option-V. To accommodate the new functionality, a few of the less frequently used hotkeys in the Split Tracks and Cleanup Audio windows have been changed. Consult the VinylStudio help file for details ('Using the toolbar') or refer to the popup help within the program. Fixed a crash when trying to show a noise sample file that doesn't exist (Harry Allen, Mac only). Fixed (I think) an occasional crash when changing screen resolution on the Mac (Peter van Reijmersdal). Fixed a rare crash when saving to MP3. Fixed a crash when undoing Normalise (Harry Allen). Fixed slowdown importing files, compared with earlier versions (Bernhard Marxer). Sorry about that. Fixed the hiss filter forgetting the slider positions when turned off. A few other bug fixes and improvements. |

Fixed a few issues introduced when the software was translated (including a crash on Sierra). Fixed a problem saving tracks in MP3 format when recording to DSD. Fixed 'Scan for Track Breaks' not working first time through. 'Mix down to mono' now works when saving as DSD. If the input file is stereo, the left-hand channel will be used unless the right-hand channel is explicitly specified. Fixed a few other minor issues. |
