Implemented audio compression (that is to say, compression of dynamic range). You will find this in the Filter Settings dialog. Modified the available LUFS normalisation values slightly. They were a little too loud. By request, the hiss filter is now a bit gentler at lower settings. To compensate, there are more settings. Fixed an issue with the click scanner (and also the clip scanner) sometimes making imperfect repairs. You might want to rescan if you can, although it's rare that you can hear it. Manual repairs are unaffected. Please contact us if you need a Pro license to do batch scanning. Thanks to Sam N for pointing this put. We apologise for this error. The above notwithstanding, the quality of click repairs in general has been improved somewhat over earlier releases. As a result, scanning is slightly slower (but it's still fast). Added a 'delete copies only' option to 'Delete selected albums or album components' in the Batch window. Useful if you want to save them again and want a clean start. |
